William Henry Harrison’s Tomb

The William Henry Harrison Tomb Memorial building in North Bend (and right next to where I live) houses the body of the United States 9th and shortest term President after dying of typhoid 31 days into his position. In 1924 the state of Ohio added a sixty foot obelisk made out of limestone and was later refurbished in 2007. Buried alongside the president is his wife and first lady, Anna, and their son John Scott Harrison who is the only person to be a child and father a President of the United States. The area around the memorial site holds a lovely walking trail and old graveyard.
