In today’s age movies can have a profound impact on society and even our history. One of the most popular movie franchises is Star Wars, a series that has shaped a generation who grew up watching them. One person in particular Steve Sansweet was influenced by the movies so much he started collecting all the memorabilia he could.

Located in Petaluma, California in what once was home to over 20,00 chickens Rancho Obi-Wan was built to display Sansweets collection in 1998. Now a California non-profit Sansweet uses Star Wars to educate and further cement its importance in our history.
