Chocolatey Chippy Banana-y Bready

Start with this recipe from Two Peas and Their Pod. If you have chocolate chips and brown bananas, then you probably have all the ingredients for this banana bread.

Follow all their instructions, especially the room temperature eggs, cooled melted butter, and kosher salt. I used light brown sugar because it’s what I had. Dark brown would be delicious as well.

Make the following adjustments:

  • use salted butter because yum.
  • double the cinnamon. seriously.
  • double the vanilla.
  • reduce the chocolate chips by 1/8 cup. i can’t believe i’m saying that either.
  • mash the bananas pretty good, but chunky is totally fine. also, i used 4 bananas, not 3 and it was heaven.
  • i didn’t have turbinado sugar and regular sugar worked just fine.

Then do your best not to eat it all in one day. Or not. You do you, man.
