Graduate students in the course will review a digtal oral history project. Use these guidelines for digital history reviews from the Journal of American History to help frame your analysis. Think specifically about why the project matters, how oral history meathods feature in the project, and the audience.

Reviews should be 750 words maximum and of publishable quality. Assignment is worth 10pts.

Objectives

• Practice for the History Harvest object interviews in a low-stakes setting
• Practice filling out metadata in advance of the History Harvest
• Articulate larger ideas contextualizing objects in national narratives
