1922 Industrial Survey of Amos Spotted

"He was threshing when I was there. They have a very good crop of wheat which had been stacked. There are not many of the Indians whom we have been able to induce to stack their wheat as an additional protection and to lessen the number of teams and people to feed at threshing time. He has good land and makes a very good use of it. He works better than most of the Indians of his age and his boys seem to have worked fairly well. The house is rather poor, very little furniture and rather poorly kept."
