"The farm is in only fair condition. I was near there on 2 or 3 occasions and they were not at home. The memorandum in this case as prepared by the Farmer, as I failed to find his party on any of my trips. He does not work much. He has an excellent opportunity to make a good living. He and his uncle are both able bodied young men. They have some other interests yielding some income from rentals. There is a big room for improvement in the way they handle their resources. it is to be hoped that they will get sufficiently hungry this year to impress upon them the need of making a better use of their land next season."
