Transcription:
"As stated, this man works in partnership with his brother, who is one of the best farmers on the Reservation. Sam works with him and seems to do his part. He has recently built a nice cottage which is well furnished and well kept. The irrigation situation on their land is largely in their own hands and at their own expense. They have done considerable work in making and maintaining ditches without any help from tribal funds. They have a new ditch partly constructed which they hope to finish independent of Government help, but in conjunction with some of their neighbors. They deserve all the encouragement we can give them in their efforts along these lines."
