"Turns Back Plenty is employed by the Government as linerider and has been for some time. He devotes practically all his time to this work, through the summer, and considerable time to it through the winter. He furnished his own horse and provisions while on his trips. He looks after stray’stock and such other stock matters as requires his attention. He is quite a satisfactory employee, His son, Joe, 22 years old, does practically all of the farm work. He is not married, but he is reputed to be a very industrious young man. Turns Back was not at home when I visited there, but was out on his work. His family live to themselves and stay at home, never camping around with other groups."
