Old County Jail

The Old County Jail at its home on Justice Drive

The Old County Jail in Lebanon, OH was built in 1896 and served very little time as a prison itself, shortly after being retired and used as a model for other jailhouses in the area, as well as a local sheriff’s department. the 3 story Richardsoniar Romanesque building was retired from service completely in the 1970’s upon the opening of a new county jail. It now rests peacefully its job complete.
