Pastel Princess

The University of Cincinnati added the DAAP building to campus in 1958; the college was preceded by The McMicken School of Design, founded in 1869. The building is a home to Design, Architecture, Art and Planning majors and is a well known school in the U.S. for these majors, as well as across the world. The college has received high rankings nationally and internationally, and produced notable alumni such as Mark Boudreaux, Michael Bierut, Mitchell Sutika Sipus, and Richard Blinder, best known for his cultural and performing arts projects, among these projects, renovation of New York’s Grand Central Station, Ellis Island, etc.
