Crosley Tower is a high-rise building constructed of concrete in 1969 and named after UC alumnus, Power Crosley Jr. (What a name!), is soon to be demolished. It gained fame for being poured as a single piece of concrete.
The news of the demolition is not surprising as in the past pieces of the building have broken off. Talk about a safety hazard. While some may be sad to see it go, many will be glad to see the eyesore disappear.
