Located in the heart of Cincinnati’s Westwood neighborhood, the Westwood Branch Library has served the community for nearly a century. This Spanish Mission-style building was dedicated as part of the Cincinnati-Hamilton County Public Library system in 1931, thereby providing the neighborhood with full library service. As of 1974, it is part of the National Register of Historic Buildings.
The Westwood Branch Library provides a cozy atmosphere with its central stone fireplace and the oak shelves lining the walls of the original L-shaped building. The building underwent renovations in 2002 which extended the children’s and teens’ reading areas.
