The Nintendo Switch is a world phenomenon in video games. Caleb Hill, a student at the University of Cincinnati, has owned this gaming system ever since it was first released. Caleb Hill is a huge Nintendo fan where he played the Wii growing up, he owned many games where he would grow attached to the characters of the Nintendo world growing up. In 2017 when the Nintendo switch was released, he managed to get in for Christmas but only had one game for a long time from him barely having any money. Caleb ended up beating the game in two weeks where his interest in buying games for his new game system was just the beginning. When Caleb got new games, he would play with his family and friends. Six years later, he still enjoys gaming on his switch even though Caleb is a second-year college student.

Caleb Hill [CH]: Hi, my name is Caleb Hill
[NF]: What object are you bringing today?
[CH]: Uh My object that’s special to me is my Nintendo switch. Um yeah.
[NF]: Then for the first question, why did you choose this object?
[CH]: Um I chose this item because it has a lot of good memories attached to it uh with both my family and my friends uh especially in like the later part of my childhood.
[NF]: What period did you obtain this item?
[CH]: Um I obtained it uh the just at the beginning of high school. And uh yeah, I’ve had it ever since.
[NF]: What memories do you remember?
[CH]: I remember playing video games on there with all my friends and my family, especially my little sister. So, I have a lot of good memories attached to it.
[NF]: And what does this object mean to you?
[CH]: Um It’s very special because I grew up being a Nintendo fan. I had a Wii growing up. So uh I’ve always been very, uh, connected to those characters and it just makes me feel happy.
[NF]: And then what is your favorite story to tell about this object?
[CH]: Um, well, I think that my favorite story, uh, with my switch is probably, uh, when I first got it, I only had one game and I had gotten it for Christmas. So I just played that one game, uh, forever and for like two weeks straight and I just finished the game completely. So that was fun.
[NF]: All right, well thank you Caleb.
[CH]: Yes.
