Basilica de la Sagrada Familia is a catholic church, specifically the largest one in the world, and it’s not even finished yet! While Antoni Gaudí is credited as the genius behind the Sagrada Familia, the Basilica was started by Francisco de Paula del Villar y Lozano, who taught Gaudí everything he knew. This church was constructed to teach people about catholicism through its beautiful architecture. In 2015 construction was 70% done. The entire church is carved with exquisite detail and each part represents a different idea/concept of the catholic faith. It will be finished in 2026.

Fun Fact!- The outside of the cathedral actually tells the story of the Bible with detailed sculptures with one side being the birth of Jesus and when you walk out of the back it is the death/aftermath of Jesus. Also, Antoni Gaudí is the only person buried here!
