Located in the heart of Blue Ash, Marx Bagels has been a staple of Cincinnati breakfast for 54 years. Opening in 1969 after the new owner John Marx bought the business out of bankruptcy, the business moved to Blue Ash from Roselawn. Being one of the few Kosher restaurants in Cincinnati, Marx Bagels has become a hub for the Jewish community of Cincinnati.

In 2019, Marx Bagels was purchased by YY and Rena Davis, both of which are orthodox Jews. In 2021 they underwent renovations, giving the restaurant a new look.
