This is a picture of Washington Square Park in New York City, I visited 3 years ago. This Arch was built in 1889, to celebrate the centennial of George Washington as the first president of this great nation. It is modeled after the Arc de Triomphe, that is located in Paris built in 1806. Both of them stands for honoring those who fought and died in the wars that shaped the foundation of two great countries.
