Located on the north sidewalk on E McMillan Street, this unique manhole cover rests in between Highland Avenue to the west and the Reading Road Bridge to the east. The communities of Mount Auburn and Walnut Hills are filled with covers this dated and by the same company. It reads “Union Gas and Electric Co.,” and is dated 1927. Located in the southwest corner of Corryville, Walnut Hills is one block east, Mount Auburn is on the south side of the street, and Avondale is one block north.
