While in the Geophysics building for class I noticed that we have our own little exhibits for specimens that have been collected in the field and been identified. It is a good way to look at what Geologists have done and where they have been. There are, however two problems with the exhibit. The first being that the labels are much too small and the second being that if you look at the labels there is very little information about the specimen. Looking at the collection of rocks, minerals, and fossils would give you very little information without knowing about the subject. However, it still is a great place to see beautiful objects of nature that have been collected and really nice if you have a passion for geology at all.
