Home to the Bearcat

The famous Nippert Stadium, the second oldest in college football history, can hold more than 40,000 fans.  (https://www.collegegridirons.com/stadiums/nippert-stadium/).  Most UC students actually don’t know that this stadium sits on top of a lagoon and has been the home to many other teams as well.  Getting it’s namesake from James Gamble Nippert’s injury, this staple location in Cincinnati has been home to many for over 90 years.

Nippert Stadium is the center of UC’s campus.  I love walking around and seeing various groups of people playing on the field.  Cricket, flag football, workout groups and other sports are common activities after a long day of classes.  It seems as though this school is always under construction but as time goes on, buildings and campus’s architecture becomes more and more beautiful, Nippert Stadium included.
