Something that ever UC student walks past almost every day is Nippert Stadium. Although people don’t think of it as public history right away, it is! Often known as the heart of our campus this structure was giving to us by James N. Gamble. Our stadium is not called the Gamble Stadium because he was the grandfather of James Gamble Nippert and he donated our stadium in James’s honor. James past in while playing football for UC. Now every time I pass by Nippert I will know the history behind it.
