Running (In)wood Park

I ran through the beautiful Inwood Park. The park was originally an old stone quarry.  The citizens voted for the city to take it over.  The city took control of it in 1904 and planned to develop a park at the site (Cincinnati Parks). There is a massive lake in the park along with one of the oldest buildings (pavilion) in Cincinnati.  Also, there is a granite monument honoring Friedrich Ludwig Jahn, the creator of playgrounds and gymnastic equipment (Cincinnativiews). Inwood Park is a park for the citizens made by the citizens of Cincinnati.
