Charles in his Chair

Although Charles West was a known flour mill operator, he was also the cofounder of Cincinnati Art Museum in 1881. He was the person responsible for building the museum in Eden park ignoring other suggestions that included Burnet woods or Washington park. His monument has four caryatids on each corner of the base of the statue. They represent music, architecture, painting and sculpting.

This one stood out to me because I loved how this man is really in a chair. The most passive and nonthreatening pose a statue could be in. How lazy was he in real life?
