Native Inclusion at Camp Friedlander

The display in question is an totem pole of sorts. The is not in the style of the indigenous peoples of the pacific northwest, but of a more symbolic gesture to native culture. The pole was created to show all of the different chapters that make up the Order of the Arrow, Ku-Ni-Eh Lodge. While the display is not in accordance or permission of native cultures that use the totem pole, the lodge is modeled off of the Delaware tribe and shows how native practices and customs can help of be reminded of native culture.
