Patricia A. Corbett

Corbett Center for Performing Arts is the centerpiece for CCM. The Patricia Corbett Theater was opened in 1971. This theater is used for many of the performing arts. The CCM facilities are long tied to the generosity of both Patricia Corbett and J. Ralph Corbett. Patricia and J. Ralph started their foundation in Cincinnati in 1955. Since 1955 the Corbett Foundation has funded tens of millions of dollars for arts and educational purposes including many scholarships. Upon her death in 2008, Mrs. Corbett left a generous trust to many arts organizations. One organization being the Society for the Preservation of Music Hall, now known as Friends of Music Hall.
