There have been many different memorials all across Washington D.C. that represent a time in which the country has prevailed and fought in, for this memorial it represents the efforts during WW2. This memorial specifically represents the soldiers who served, the ones who’ve fallen, and shows the victory in which the United States has deserved.

The memorial is very detailed showing meanings within the war that have to be heard by the people. A detail for example is the Freedom Wall, which showcases 4,048 stars on a wall, which represents every 100 Americans who have fallen during the war. There are pillars that describe the 48 states that were present for the war during that time as well.
