Music Hall was built in 1878, being a historical cornerstone in our city of Cincinnati. It was also designated as a National Historic Landmark in 1975. As incredible as the architecture is to look at from the outside, the fact that Music Hall houses the “Cincinnati Opera (the nation’s second-oldest opera company), Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra (the nation’s sixth-oldest symphony orchestra), May Festival (the longest-running choral festival in the Western hemisphere)” on the inside is arguably more amazing.  I had the privilege to go to an event here after the renovations last year and it was incredible, beautifully refinished.
