This is a cross beam section from one of two World Trade Center towers. Upon recovery from the Ground Zero site, much like the American Resolve, it remains in tact and resilient. Today much like the day of September 11th, 2001, people of all color; creeds; religion and backgrounds stand together as one, in the wake of one of the most horrific tragedy’s in our Nations history.
This is Veterans Park in the Green Township area of Cincinnati Ohio, where the cross beam from the World Trade Center is proudly displayed. The park bears three additional dedicated memorials that reflect and honor the service of American Men and Women who serve and have served in the Armed Forces. The twenty four foot beam of the Trade Center has been display thanks to the delegation of emergency responders from the Green Township whom escorted it from New York 26 August, 2011. This park boasts a children’s playground, handball courts, basketball courts as well as a soccer and baseball field.
