The United States Capitol Building is a building that houses the congress in which they form laws and bills for our nation. The United States congress was founded in 1789 with it housing the House of Representatives and Senate where they met in numerous buildings until the capitol would be built in 1800.

Even though the congress has moved to different buildings, the Capitol Building became there home for over 200 years now. Today, the Capitol building is popular for tourists to visit in Washington D.C. Every once in a while, protests would go on there to represent what Americas Freedom has in store for this country.
