Anderson 225

Anderson Township is celebrating its 225th anniversary, and the most recent event was a festival at the Towne Center. The townships’ museum, which is only open two days a week, was open to the public, there were demonstrations of basket weaving and detailed quilts made by residents hung around the center. I enjoyed looking through the museum during a time in which I was available as well as being able talk to other interested in the history of our township. Seeing pictures of what our town used to look like in comparison to current day was eye-opening.
