Constructed in 1998, the Ronald F. Walker Tower stands high above the University of Cincinnati’s Sigma Sigma Commons both as a reminder of the university’s history and a push towards the future. Constructed by Machado Silvetti, the tower contains the names of major donors to the university as well as the names of the founding members of the fraternity Sigma Sigma.
Ronald F. Walker was a financial banker at UC and friend and colleague to the Carl Lindner family financial empire. The sculpture is commemorated to him.
