Just down the road from the UC campus, there is a church. This church is the St. Monica-St. George Parish Newman Center! This institution has been around since 1911 for UC students and Catholics alike around the area. They have done countless work for disadvantaged people throughout the community and have provided services.

This parish has touched many lives around the area through outreach and charity programs. They also lead retreats for members to better themselves as Christians. I may not be Christian myself, but any program that helps the community and focuses on bettering each other is fine by me!
