I visited Tanzania in 2013, and was very interested in it’s history and culture. It was an eye opening experience, especially when visited the old  Slave trade market and dock that ships “goods” to Europe.

The Church, as described, was been burnt during revolution. But now kept as a monument in memory of the history.

This church and the slave monument is now a tourist attraction, making tens and thousands from American and European travelers, every year for the locals.
