Springing to Spring Grove

I went to Spring Grove Cemetery to draw for my architecture class, but it was more entertaining than I thought it would be. It is the second largest cemetery in all of the United States. The site has plenty of famous people buried there along with war veterans from the Civil War to Vietnam. Louis Taft, the mother of William Howard Taft (who attended UC), is buried there.  The graves themselves vary from a small stone to a large chamber in the side of a hill. It is a popular destination for many.
