Johnny Appleseed

Overlooking the Cremation Garden is the late Saint John Chapman, better known as Johnny Appleseed. Chapman served as an American folk legend, wandering on foot across the Midwest giving what little he had back to everyone he met. Many of the apple orchards Chapman planted by hand during his travels still stand to this day. But all he spreads now is peace to the souls resting in the Cremation Garden on the northwest side of the cemetery grounds.
